    Homebrew RELEASE Tinleaf Installer - A No-Bullshit-No-Bullshit NSP/NSZ/XCI/XCZ Installer

Literally just reskinned Awoo Installer. I don't mean "similar", I mean he wholesale copied the source and changed a few images / colors.

Homebrew RELEASE Switch homebrew team 2168-0002 releases dedbae xci2nsp: A smarter, faster XCI to NSP converter

Someone did manage to build a working OSX binary and posted it in one of the myriad Discord servers; I forget where exactly, wasn't paying much attention. For what it's worth, I don't think I got a pullreq. I think in the OP I did touch on why I have no interest in doing it myself, but tl;dr I...

Homebrew RELEASE Switch homebrew team 2168-0002 releases dedbae xci2nsp: A smarter, faster XCI to NSP converter

IIRC Mario Party uses the key area key introduced in 5.0.0. As such it will not work in 4.1 without re-encryption, which is beyond the scope of this tool. I have personally tested Mario Party on my personal system (5.1.0) and it does work.

Homebrew RELEASE Switch homebrew team 2168-0002 releases dedbae xci2nsp: A smarter, faster XCI to NSP converter

I will be changing the keyfile location on Windows, also searching the current one for the sake of backwards compatibility. There are motivational problems at the moment, so I can't say when. As far as I know, no gamecard has ever had addon content embedded on it. In cases like Shantae UE and...

Homebrew RELEASE Switch homebrew team 2168-0002 releases dedbae xci2nsp: A smarter, faster XCI to NSP converter

The XML is irrelevant and not actually used for anything. That part of the verification IIRC is about checking that an eShop rip is "proper". Obviously that whole concept doesn't apply here ;) Current 4NXCI goes the extra mile to avoid the need for an extra signature patch that isn't in Hekate...

Try it with Tinfoil instead. Who knows what SX's mess is expecting.

Homebrew RELEASE Switch homebrew team 2168-0002 releases dedbae xci2nsp: A smarter, faster XCI to NSP converter

Because of the whole "Windows Explorer doesn't like dotfiles" thing and just Windows user profiles being structured differently, I'm thinking that hactool probably has the wrong idea there. Thinking about changing the keyfile location. I'll have the tool try both paths for backwards...

Homebrew RELEASE Switch homebrew team 2168-0002 releases dedbae xci2nsp: A smarter, faster XCI to NSP converter

Boy are you ever a pleasant person. The DLL issue was a bug and has been fixed. Given your demeanor, I don't consider it worthwhile to discuss the other points with you. Sorry! Fixed in 1.0.0-1

Homebrew RELEASE Switch homebrew team 2168-0002 releases dedbae xci2nsp: A smarter, faster XCI to NSP converter

Oh please. "GCC and friends" isn't "a ton". That's barely the minimums for compiling anything on Linux. And that's only compile time. The finished binary only depends on basic runtime libraries you'll find already present on pretty much every system. The dotfolder replicates hactool's behavior...

Homebrew RELEASE Switch homebrew team 2168-0002 releases dedbae xci2nsp: A smarter, faster XCI to NSP converter

Find xci2nsp releases here: https://gitlab.com/roothorick/dedbae/tags/ A pretty minor release for 2168, but don't ever say we hoard our creations! This is an XCI to NSP converter that's smarter and faster than 4nxci. A single, self-contained executable with no dependencies worth mentioning...

    Hacking 4nxci nsp size

That's around a 350MB difference which sounds about right for the update partition (system update, excluded from NSPs). You should be good.

Beat me to it :/ That's okay, I have too much to work on as it is. Thanks!

Homebrew WIP 4NXCI Open-Source *.XCI to *.NSP Converter

Do you know for certain the digest is the issue or is that your best guess given the evidence? I ask because I've identified other possible causes e.g. NCA location flags, titlekey crypto. Further, do you have any guesses as to where the digest check actually is in the OS?
