Ahoy! Feel free to move this if it's in the wrong place...so many forums!
I want to play Mario Golf Toadstool tour (gamecube game) PAL version on my US Wii. I got my Wii hacked and homebrewed to the max but I don't have any experience playing gamecube backups on it, let alone a PAL backup. Is...
Well I'd like to avoid the update disabling any features I might use in the future. How can I modify the ISO? All the guides seem to use an SD card which I don't have.
I got the USA release...goomba. I read that release thread about 3 times but don't understand...
I have a wiikey installed.
If I update the game, might it screw up my wii somehow?
Or is it fine to just update and play?
If I have to modify the iso somehow...what program do I use to do it...
Sorry to bump this again but I've been reading more and am still a bit confused.
Should I just do the update that is required to run animal crossing? Nothing bad will happen? I'm using the Wiikey, should I turn on some brickblock feature or something? Thanks.
Ahhh, this is the thread I was looking for. All the info right in here.
I'm using the Wiikey...so if I want to get the game working without running the update (which would brick my wii?) I just follow this guide?. Hope it works.
Saw the microphone for the game at Gamestop and it was like 30...
Thanks for all the replies, folks. I've decided it's too risky to take my Wii on vacation so I think I'm going to take my dreamcast and load that up with emulation instead...I assume that's possible. Dreamcast is pretty old now but does anyone know what the good emulators are for Dreamcast? I'm...
Are they just better because of the Wiimote integration or do they have other advantages as well?
I'll probably end up trying to run emulators made to run on Gamecube if I can just play them off a disc. I'm broke as a joke and if I don't need the SD card then I won't get one.
Was thinking...
CDs...DVDs...same thing - Nah I know the difference. I still call DVDs CDs all the time though. I got plenty of DVD-RWs lying around.
Emulation on the wii isn't possible without an SD card? I can play backup gamecube games on my Wii just fine.
Hey guys. I'm pretty new to running "homebrew" stuff on the wii. I was hoping to put a bunch of SNES/NES games on a disc (got the files for that already) and be able to play them on my Wii. Not really sure how exactly though. I do have the Wiikey installed, and gamecube controllers to play with...
Otherwise there's no way to play 2 player though? Even in emulation (that's what I'm talking about).
Also, is it a good investment to buy some kind of screen protector?
Is it a pain for someone else to try and watch you play while you're playing? I mean can the other person see the screen ok...
Thanks a'plenty guys.
So you could actually buy some controller (maybe a wireless one) and get it working with the DS to use as a second controller? I know most emulators let you bind your own controls. Not sure where the controller would plug into though unless the DS has a USB port.
There...
