Hacking Misc Tutorial Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes save editing

If you have the GOG version - unfortunately, its saves are compressed or encrypted the same way the Steam ones are, so it won't work for this either unless someone can figure out a workaround.

Hacking Misc Tutorial Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes save editing

My experience is that the PC version is compressed and the Switch version is not and that they therefore can't be transferred. There's probably some way around this but I can't figure it out myself.

ROM Hack Save editing: Bravely Default

Byte 4 in ECSV.sav. The SP points themselves are at position 5, the byte immediately following it, but the game will get confused and won't display your SP total if you set that to higher than 3 (because you're not supposed to be able to have more than 3 SP at once.) There's something else in...

How Long Must We Wait For A Good Star Wars Game

It feels like LucasArts lost something when the Star Wars prequels were announced... although a lot of their best stuff was adventure games, and those died way earlier. Come to think of it, I wonder why they never made a proper Star Wars adventure game?

Adventure Time Game Coming to the DS

Don't you mean mathimatical 2D art? That said, cell-shading could look good for this. And in terms of gameplay, they could base it off of A Boy and His Blob and it would fit pretty well -- the two have very similar ascetics (in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if that's one reason they chose this...

How to get rid of the stupid tit ads?

Perhaps they also use IP address for targeting, and some other people at that place have been browsing inappropriate things at work?

Hacking Crown3ds flashcard - Hacking your 3DS and playing 3DS games

It's too early for a fully-working, insert-microSD-run-games card, definitely. But I can totally believe that someone found a loophole in the the 3DS that lets them force something to run under very specific circumstances. It's not really possible to totally lock down the hardware, after all...

Gaming GBAtemp DS Hype Thread Index

There are a few more. Oddly, after so long with nothing but shovelware, we're getting a few decent games all at once within the space of a few days. According to GameFAQs (which is never totally reliable, but): Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 on 9/19. Kirby Mass Attack, also on 9/19. Harvest...

    Hardware 3DS is region locked

No, he's partially right. They're not. PAL (short for Phase Alternating Line) is an encoding standard for TVs used in Europe, Australia, and much of the rest of the world, as opposed to NTSC, used in North America. Traditionally, part of the reason region codes are divided up the way they are...

ROM Hack Cross Treasures Branch Translation

Um, yes. That's the idea of this thread. Translations take time, though, especially since they aren't being paid and therefore have to handle work / school / real life / whatever first.
