Has the issue of not having the Gravity Suit on within in-game cutscenes fixed?
Also, is there a plan to allow the option of having the original Maxximum Edition music changes intact? Because options are always good to have, and I honestly prefer it.
I know the end of year holidays have just wrapped up; but has there been any solutions for swapping the Varia suit for the Gravity suit for in-game cutscenes once you get the Gravity Suit?
would putting them in a Zip folder or WinRAR folder work?
Also, did you figure out how to fix the in-game cutscenes to show the Gravity Suit instead of the Varia Suit?
I meant in the file you obtain the Gravity Suit. Because you can obtain Varia then exit to Theater and watch early cutscenes and it'd still be in the Power Suit.
However; I think I'll push to finish the game in this playtest to make sure everything else is fine, then shelve my Let's Play...
If that's all that needs doing; then all that would be left to do is tell the game to do that when you obtain the Gravity Suit.
Because you cannot view previous cutscenes within that save file, that doesn't matter.
Surely the texture/model swap can be on a "per cutscene" basis. Like; when the cutscene is triggered the textures swap, then swap back after the cutscene finishes.
Or perhaps make the texture/model change for cutscenes after the Gravity Suit is activated. Since the model swaps when the Varia...
Since these cutscenes are in-engine, isn't it possible to code a texture swap, swap Barrier textures for Gravity textures or something? You're just changing the orange parts of the suit then and the cutscene should still use the Barrier model so hopefully no breakage. Also maybe re-swap the...
I've been playtesting this so far; noticed that any cutscenes that are in-engine still have Samus in her Varia suit when she has the Gravity suit. For example; discovering Ridley's petrified remains.
It doesn't open up on it's own, but I'm close, so I'll experiment; thank you.
If I really cannot get these to work, could I possibly send you the .mp4 and .wav files so you can quickly sfdmux them for me please?
Okay, I've followed these instructions to the best of my ability, and I don't know why this isn't working for me. But I did notice something odd; when I run the .bat file with the code you provided; my .adx file gets overwritten to 3kb regardless of its previous size.
I cannot figure this out, I might just add my small changes when I'm editing my Let's Play videos... :wacko:
If I'm following the instructions exactly, it shouldn't be this much hassle.
I used the ffmpeg and crytools method and just made the .bat files by copy-pasting the text into a notepad file and making it into a .bat file. I'll try the .mpeg conversion again before retrying here.
