1) Has someone tried removing the battery and then saved? 2) I feel the Everdrive lacks transparency about what exact features it provides and how they work. That is until you buy one of these and try it out yourself.- shadax777

Could someone else please re-confirm that storing the save on the SD card requires a _game change_ !?! What happens to my save if I keep starting a certain game, make progress, save it, but don't start a different game after that? I had the impression that some firmware upgrade of the Everdrive...- shadax777

Hmm, I had the impression that it asks the user to write the save from FRAM to SD just after powering up again. Unless the user changes this setting in the menu. At least that would explain to me why it never encounters any hickups when saving _during_ gameplay. Repro carts _do_ expose this...- shadax777

@K3Nv2 I got some cheapies at wallys, that are pretty good, already have lost a few expensive ones (one falls out and gone, can't find) while cutting grass so bought some cheap ones, and of course never lose these cheap ones. (Cheap meaning only $35, compared to air buds which I only have 1 of 2 now)
