Modernising hack for GB Tetris - Rosy Retrospection

600k is still a lot! 1688075686 Sorry for posting this much. I went even further this time and decided to see what happens after 999 lines.. I decided mid-play I would stop playing after doing an "All Clear" as some sort of challenge, however, it took 500 more lines. lol I'm really done with...

Modernising hack for GB Tetris - Rosy Retrospection

Well, I guess there's nothing left to do in this game. I've reached 999k points. Then again, mapping Select to a shoulder button it's what makes this possible. Don't know if it this score counts. I've gotta say, this romhack is good.

Ok. Managed to score more than 800k points. This time I recorded it. Here's the video:

Modernising hack for GB Tetris - Rosy Retrospection

Managed to break the 700k barrier. However, it feels like cheating. I made it on PC using a gamepad with the Select button mapped on the right shoulder button for easy access to the Hold button.

Modernising hack for GB Tetris - Rosy Retrospection

I do consider myself really good at Tetris, just not that much. lol Oh, yes. There's some people who play Tetris that don't look like humans. That video you linked is someone playing the Classic Version of Tetris. I mean... that's way more difficult than Modern Tetris. Tetrominos lock in place...

    DSi Browser Exploit Found

Yeah, you're right. My guess is that the pre-installed internet browser depends on which System Menu version the DSi is shipped with. Mine remains the same as Day 1. 1.4.1U. Maybe that was just the exact version in which Nintendo started to include both the Internet Browser and the Nintendo DSi...

GBAtemp Exclusive GBAtemp's 2022 game retrospective - our favorite ports, updates, indies, and more

I suggest you to check the "GTA Tightened Vice" mod. If you're bored of the original game, this mod makes every mission way more difficult. Not reccomended if you get frustrated easily, though.

    DSi Browser Exploit Found

Yup. You're right. For some reason my mind mixed up this with setting up the console to use Wimmfi servers. lol So yeah, that means the exploit is even better. Lets just say that WPA2 connectivity it's part of the "DSi upgrade". XD

    DSi Browser Exploit Found

OK, sorry for being *that* kinda guy. I still have the manuals, and this speaks for itself. lol But yeah, this can serve as proof that this exploit will be really useful even if Memory Pit is easier to use. The only real downside of this exploit is configuring a router to use the WEP protocol...

    DSi Browser Exploit Found

Well, my 1.4.1U DSi came bundled with the Internet Browser. I'd say it was something that was part of the "DSi" upgrade from the DS Lite, besides the camera. It's also labeled in the box. I'm amazed at how people refuse to let this console die. lol

I hate ordering stuff online if I can go buy it somewhere close to me, and everywhere anymore will give you a discount only if you order it online, bs. Should be a discount if I go pick it up, not order online.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I love it for most things most stores you just shows the receipt online and they scan it

Makes it easy for incompetent restaurant staff that don't know how to hear an order
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Mostly for big purchases, I want it in my hands before I pay. Like a tv, I trust picking it up myself, before I'd trust it being sent thru mail/delivery. (Broken screen, etc) But yea if I can order online, then pickup at store is ok, but not all places offer that.

Thing is, if you break it driving back to your house, it's your fault. But if the delivery driver damages it, it's not your fault.

Most people that haul big tvs have empty trucks or know enough not to set it face down
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Then I gotta send it back and wait another week or two. I have a pickup truck, with a extended cab, so no prob for me.
