You really have a attitude problem don't you... You state in your 1st post the port is physically damaged! Then you tell me it can't be replaced in 15 minutes... I own a repair business I do this all week every day ps3 hdmi ports are thru hole components there the easiest ports to replace, hot air device removes dead port in 5 minutes and as soon as the old port is out...- SNsystems

Hardware 30xxA dead! Need help to revive it.
You may well of pulled the Heatsink off with too much force and pulled the bga connections off partially,very easy to do on cech 3000 onwards models- SNsystems
