    Assuming a file of some sort is written, it would likely be less than 1KB and probably pretty hard to detect just by checking the SD card's remaining space. Regardless, I'll make a post here if I do end up getting banned.

    I may have fixed it simply by not hitting "L" on startup, but if it happens again I'll definitely buy a memory card (although they're rather pricy because they're discontinued). I also bought a battery replacement for $1.20, better safe than sorry!
