    I just noticed this when getting read to add the kernel to my r4i. The question I have is does my DSi XL have to have the same update as the card (currently it's version 1.4.5U) or can I just download the latest firmware and have it work accordingly?

    Yea it does. And you can add platform character behavior to your own charcter, and it will have move and jump already setup for you, space bar is jump, arrows move
