    I was going to go buy a new SD card for this anyways (the one I have is really small, I'm not sure it could even fit the entire NAND backup especially since I have a "deluxe edition" wii u with more storage), but thanks!

    I don't have access to a real way of SD card access right now, so it's my only option. I'm asking if it's safe because I'm doing it right now and it keeps timing out and reconnecting- wondering if this might cause anything to get corrupted, which might lead to a brick.
