This isn't my original source, but these are the fuses:
  • tech3475
IIRC the fuse is surface mount and located on the PS2's motherboard. I believe I accidentally blew the 12v rail on my PS2, however, 2.5" drives work fine so I would suggest trying that first. edit: Forgot to mention, I had modded my adapter...

First of all, just because there's so many views it doesn't mean people know the answer, going by your title I didn't even know what you meant until I Googled "R36S". Regardless, I did a quick Google search and found this, I don't know if it...

Looking around, I found these old posts by chance which suggests it may not be the case and this was known back in the day: https://gbatemp.net/threads/guide-how-to-fix-a-bricked-ds-ds-lite.137612/ Of course these are unverified until tested...
  • tech3475
Did you test exclusively on the Lite or did you also test on a Phat model from when the bricker was released? Also I have to agree that soldering SL1 is moronic unless you're a dev, the only practical risks I'm aware of is the flashing failing...

I presume you mean DOS in general and not DOS 4.0 ;) But MS's earliest 'OS' was actually BASIC for the Altair 8800 and from what I can gather in 1980 they released a UNIX variant called Xenix, predating DOS by about a year. That said, DOS 1 was...

I'd find out which revision it is as I believe some are more desirable than others. https://www.retrorgb.com/snesversioncompare.html

I suspect two groups: 1) Retro enthusiasts who need it for something e.g. some old webui, etc. 2) Commercial users At least, these are the two reasons I've used IE in the last decade. At work we were only upgraded from XP/W7 last year to W10...

Off the top of my head, last I looked it doesn't support 386 enhanced mode on Windows 3.11. May not be necessary but I like having it and occasionally use the odd piece of software on it.
  • tech3475
I hope they get around to 6.22 at some point, especially if it improves Win 3.11 support on FreeDOS, etc. Would you prefer it if they kept it closed source? There's also still people who mess around with 8088 based hardware, so potentially...

tech3475 replied to the thread Best controller ever.
I don't have a 'best' controller, they all have their pros and cons. In terms of modern controllers, I tend to prefer Xbonx for 3D and PS for 2D/DPad. Going on a tangent though, the only time I recall preferring a third party controller over...

You might want to be more specific: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_data_leak
  • tech3475
I think Nintendo has become the definition of 'just because you can doesn't mean you should'. One potential problem with this is that I wouldn't be surprised if this just causes Nintendo to double down, due to the 'one download == one lost...

One thing I noticed earlier was a spammer also posting in a pre-existing topic, so I think you would also need a cool down on the amount of posts in any given time.

I'm now going to be disappointed if someone doesn't eventually do this parody on Youtube. That said, I'll probably watch Deadpool 3 & Wolverine when it appears on Disney+ about 3 or so months later.
