Updated to 17.0.0 and having issues getting sigpatches to work

Updates will hardly (if ever) require another FW, what matters is the master key which those games where mode from, both titles use master key 16 which means that ANY updates will work in a 16+ firmware as long as you know how to install them.

[SPOILERS AHEAD] Zelda TotK Help thread

Differently from BOTW that I had to do the Zora path every Blood Moon to replenish arrows in TOTK they are very well distributed, pretty much every Bokoblin with a Bow will drop a x5 arrow pack, so just find a few camps and attack those. Oh, break barrels too, they pretty much always have...

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been leaked almost 2 weeks from release

I'm running 1.1.0 on 15.0.0 so your statement is just wrong, the problem is something else, like sig patches or dunno, but definitely not the FW. I did update yesterday to 16.0.2 but after that I couldn't play Zelda anymore, "Unable to start software, corrupted blahblah" same happened with...

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been leaked almost 2 weeks from release

Doesn't work like that, the game master key is 15 so it will work on 15.0.0+ regardless the update requirement.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been leaked almost 2 weeks from release

I’ve already got 12 shrines and 2 towers and yeah the “ultrahand” is definitely a bit tiresome…u actually need to build a lot, to get korojs, shrines, or just cross some area.. wish we had less construction..

Nintendo is showcasing ten minutes of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom gameplay tomorrow

He wasn't involved in BOTW neither m8y so I dunno what you're actually saying here.

Installed games no longer showing up

My card was brand new...bought only for CFW used for 400 hours give or take and it got corrupted, it was FAT32 too... so yeah it is more prone to get corrupted I had the same opinion but this week events proofed me wrong...if you're going to start from scratch why the hell make the same mistake...

Installed games no longer showing up

File based emuMMC is a bad idea... I've just lost a 270 hours BOTW save game this week after finally getting my SD corrupted, I confess I never thought it would happen, but after 400 hours of gaming while I was replaying BOTW I paused the game left in the dock and boom...fatal error occurred...

Powered on my switch for the first time in maybe three years and I'm a little behind. SXOS 2.8 and 8.0.0 Help me update!

Like I get it...I have similar setup with 2 SD cards but complaining about storage with a 400gb for SXOS? Why the hell you would need USB loading for? Do you play how many games at the same time... I have a emunand with just a few Gbs on a 128gb SD Card to run SXOS and XCI loading...if the point...

Sonic Frontiers has leaked on Switch ahead of its release date

Yup, pretty much that, at first the game looked a bit dull but after a couple of hours progressing it the gameplay became more fun..and the music is definitely cool, kind of relaxing...

Is the Steam Deck a Game Changer for Nintendos Plans to release another Console?

It doesn't... You guys are the vast minority of gamers who have the time (for emulation and etc), money and live in a country where the steam deck is available...aside that they aren't competitors like many said before, or can you dock the steam deck? Oh so it's just a handheld and a PC gaming...

Is the Steam Deck a Game Changer for Nintendos Plans to release another Console?

Exactly...Mario and Zelda alone will always sell whatever hardware nintendo comes up with...

Steam Deck production ramping up, Valve expects queue to be cleared by end of year

Hardly....too expansive with importation taxes would be very niche and we are already talking about a niche product for the northern hemisphere so no I wouldn't count with it hitting poor markets.

ITotalJustice's Nintendo Switch sigpatches GitHub has been removed due to DMCA takedown

Nah...MK8 needs a very low master key... I don't recall which one... but the master key that matters... everything else can be ignored by installers... Finding patches is very easy...and people can just make their own, this will do absolutely NOTHING to the switch hacking scene...just wait for...
