Exactly. I weighed up buying one but just couldn't justify the cost.
If they hadn't have moved to Andorra I may have ended up purchasing but the additional import fees just pushed it too far.

The price difference between the MegaSD and the Mega Everdrive is a huge factor though.
To purchase a MegaSD here in the UK it would set me back over £100 more than the Mega Everdrive.
MSD - £267 including postage and import fees
MED - £165 including postage (no import fees).
Had the Donkey Kong 2 game and watch as a kid.
Wish they'd do one that had all the games on rather than one that has a non game and watch game on it.
Still pre ordered though.
The UI doesn't really bother me to be honest, it's basic but it's quick and gets the job done.
Introducing a flashier menu and art e.t.c. would potentially slow things down.

Apparantly the errors the Mega SD shows are the same as what you get on the Genesis GX emulator whereas the Mega Everdrive gives the same results as a real Sega CD.
Yeah I held off buying a MegaSD because I couldn't justify the price.
Including postage and import tax it would have come in at £267 which is absolutly ridiculous.
Thankfully Krikzz did the business at a much lower price - £164 all in.
