Every time I click european God of War Ascension disc icon, I get a black screen and after a while, it returns to XMB.
EDIT: I have a PS3 disc (Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction) which says my HDD has insufficient space and that I need 419 MB available for the initial setup when I have way...
I was asking if you tried disabling the modchip itself, not changing its settings.
I did and I can boot from USB, hence why I have the mentioned black screen with a tilt or saying something failed.
Also, where did you see Neutrino is more compatible than OPL? The author of the Neutrino UDPBD...
I was watching this video to be able to run Neutrino via UDPBD but after booting GParted Live and clicking "GParted Live (Default settings)", I have a black screen with a tilt (I tried both MBR and GPT partition schemes). Also, Rufus can't format the USB Flash Drive as exFAT, only as FAT32 or...
Did you try with other BD or after disabling Matrix 1.93?
Is Neutrino faster and more compatible than OPL? It seems it's much harder to set than OPL. Can it ran games via UDPBD from an USB device connected to the PC or a nano router, and if so, from the same device where the UDPBD server is...
What are the differences between XEB+ and FMCB and can the latter be installed in every PS2 model and without having installed FMCB first (so, when hacking the PS2 for the first time)?
OK, but the HDD is known as the most compatible device (as well as ps2_gxemu is more compatible than ps2_netemu, according to what you say) so it can't be known if SMB is the second or third most compatible one in general (so, not necessarily with only the individual titles I care about)? Also...
Is USB more compatible than SMB even if the latter is faster? And between HDD, SMB, USB, MX4SIO, i.LINK and UDPBD, which are more compatible and faster? Can someone sort them all regarding the compatibility and speed from the highest to the lowest?
Is Neutrino faster and more compatible than OPL? It seems it's much harder to set than OPL. Can it ran games via UDPBD from an USB device connected to the PC or a nano router, and if so, from the same device where the UDPBD server is (unlike OPL)?
EDIT: I was watching this video to be able to...
If using the PC or a 2.5" external HDD directly connected to the PS2 or to the PC/nano router when running OPL or POPStarter, may it go to sleep, and if so, may PS1 and PS2 games freeze? And what if using a 3.5" external HDD (connected to the PC, nano router or PS2), an USB flash drive...
Are 1 TB external SSD cheap as well?
How can I know if the PS2 doesn't provide enough energy to power a 2.5" external HDD? The driver wouldn't appear in wLE or OPL (for instance) or it might appear from time to time and even successfully run PS1/PS2 games until they suddenly freeze?
May the 2.5" (and even 3.5") external HDD or USB flash drive go to sleep while connected to the PS2, PC or nano router making games freeze in POPStarter/OPL?
The other night was watching tv in my screened in porch, and heard something walking on my porch roof, thought maybe it was a raccoon, so I grabbed my rifle and went out to look, it was just a duck, lol
