Try taking out the sd card and blowing on it and/or just reinserting it. Sometimes the payload will run but it won't have anything TO run because the system isn't recognizing the card.
I would recommend updating to the latest homebrew-supported firmware, and then updating both goldleaf and your sigpatches. This fixes my problems about 95% of the time and I think it would be the solution here as well.
Have you tried downloading the starter files for the R4? Downloading just the roms alone won't be enough to play the games; you need a firmware as well.
Have you tried:
A) Taking it out, blowing on it, putting it back in?
B) Backing up all files and re-formatting (possibly without using quick format) and putting them back on?
Wii emulation is acceptable on Switch but definitely not where you're probably hoping it will be. Additionally, there is a very fine line between being safe versus being banned, and you're playing with fire if you want to try modding without a ban. You would probably want to just decide which is...
Update atmosphere. 9.0 broke how buttons were mapped and until creators had time to fix it the buttons were unusable. IIRC, it should be long fixed now on newer versions.
They didn't even bother getting rid of any important sites that host actual game files. They just got rid of buying jigs and certain CFW. You can still get .nsp and .xci files in a crazy amount of places.
