JPN New 3DS goes for around $160-70 online shipped to US so it's hardly cost-prohibitive, compared with the only one available in the US which is that silly Animal Crossing bundle ($220). Plus, I'd really like a black one and Nintendo has been slow on the uptake in bringing thesmaller N3DS...
I'm considering getting a Japanese N3DS so I can install CFW and region change it if necessary. But, I'd rather not have to deal with downgrading 10.7 firmware (oothax/ninjhax). I was wondering if anybody knew what the latest firmware Japanese N3DS are shipping with? Are they now shipping with...
Does anybody know what firmware the Japanese New 3DS models ship with? This is for the regular model, not the LL. My aim is to set up an emunand and change the region from JPN to US, and I'd rather not have to bother with ninjhax or a flashcard on 10.7.
Yeah you Europeans are lucky, AFAIK know Australia and Europe use the same PAL region hardware.
Even though Japan uses NTSC, it's NTSC-J so NTSC-U regions (e.g. USA) can't use it. Guess we just gotta wait...
I'll echo other people's sentiments that Nintendo will drop the New 3DS in EU/US...
I updated and turned on native control and that took care of it, thanks a lot! Was driving me batty.
However now I cannot load GC games from USB Loader GX, gives me an error about Nintendont loading from USB. However Nintendont loads games just fine from the HBC. I updated GX and then...
Not on mine it seems. I went to settings from both Nintendont itself and USB Loader GX where I load my games. My Nintendont version is 2.167 if that makes any difference.
I am having a problem with my Gamecube controller on a couple GC games (I'm on the Wii). Most work perfectly, no issues whatsoever. But two titles are causing my stick to drift upwards while I play.
It's not a calibration issue as far as I can tell (tried it) and my controller/Nintendont work...
I haven't been keeping up with the 3DS scene lately, but will the new Gateway work on latest firmware?
Also I am not sure if you will be able to access the US network for multiplayer and such even if games are not region locked. Better look into it.
Personally I would just wait. Nintendo is...
I didn't know Devo needed retail discs, I don't want to mess with discs so I've managed to install Nintendont instead. Like Devo, it seems to have better compatibility than Dios Mios, especially with memory card emulation.
The Nintendont thread is here...
Yes, it was my browser addons causing the issue.
Quick Q: Is there any particular reason one cannot/should not use Devolution instead of Dios Mios? Glancing at the compatibility list, it seems that Devolution is much better, especially when it comes to things like memory card emulation.
Usually when such a big title leaks the Temp will be the first to report about it (going off of historical reports here, Pokemon SV being the latest one I can recall seeing pop up here)
I only watch tv when i goto bed, it puts me to sleep, and I have a nas drive filled w my fav shows so i can watch them in order, commercial free. I usually watch Married w Children, or South Park

I got my Dad a firestick for Xmas and showed him those 3rd party sites on Kodi, he loves it, all he watches anymore. He said he has got 3 letters from AT&T already about pirating, but he says f them, let them shut my internet off (He wants out of his AT&T contract anyways)
