Will switching between CFW (for homebrew/backups) and sysnand (for online play) be more of a hassle if my switch's "base" is a higher firmware? Will booting into CFW itself get more annoying if I hack on 9.0? I've read abouot warm/coldboot and that they aren't possible if I update from 4.1, but...- YoNix

So I have an old (april 2018) switch on 4.1. I wanna update to be able to play pokemon tomorrow but also want CFW in the future. Will updating my switch now prevent me from getting cfw in the future? will I only be able to get a "worse" cfw if I update? If I get CFW now, can I still play online...- YoNix

I just modified my 3ds XL's birth date (firmware 4.4) and from there it stopped recognizing my gateway mode (does not boot gateway mode when clicking nds profile). I've tried to look for solutions and most of them result in "you have to reinstall your gateway setup". My issue is that I don't...- YoNix

Trying to update my pokemon X without firmware updates messing with my gateway - will I stay in emunand if I take the red cart out (using the web exploit if that matters)? Is it possible to then insert my X cart and update it as usual?- YoNix

The problem with X party blocked X bill that would have prevented X is that yes the bill probably would have worked great, buuuttt they put XYZDCBG in said bill as an attempt to sneak things in that tend to be completely unrelated to the original bills intent.
