    All HDD I've tested work without an external source of energy but the USB. You can even use USB sticks for that matter. Because of this, I've been looking to update the compatibility list of external storage devices to modern devices and even enclosures.

    I would love to hear how you manage to do that new setup and learn how to do it for a home use. The sensor bar just doesn't cut it for me now but not willing to give up my Wii just yet. That would be awesome to do.
