If it's only Pokemon Sword and Shield you're looking forward to, and you've lasted this long without one, you could probably wait for the more powerful one. It depends on how good a game you think S&S will be as to whether you need a Switch sooner rather than later. You could always wait for the lets plays to see if you don't mind a few spoilers.

It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
