Reynardine
Reynardine
Reinhart Fuchs, or Reineke, or Reynard. ;)
The name is from an old tale and also a song I really like.

I don't know, I just like foxes. They are more like cats than dogs which is interesting.
Sometimes I see them when I go for a walk in the forest early in the morning.

We often say that foxes are sly, they also have very good hearing and are loners. I'd like to think of myself as a bit like that. It just fits. ;)

The Fox is a fox."You never outfox the Fox" said Danny Kaye in the "Jester" already. :-))

Did you already "found" @the_randomizer ´s Fluffy foxes thread(s) ?

I saw that already before I was a member here, but that's been a while ago...
I guess I should take another look! ^_^

Absolutely lovely pictures there!

As for the wild foxes in our forest, they are too quick for me. They're always gone long before I have my camera working, unfortunately...

Wolves are in a complicated situation here in Saarland currently. Naturschutzbund and others would be happy if the wolves came back to our forests. But there are people, including politicians who are panicking and discussing if wolves should be allowed to be shot.

Personally I don't think that wolves are a danger to humans, but that discussion is still going...

I wish wild animals had more space for themselves in this world, but we humans are taking more and more of it away from them.

There isn't much real nature left in most of Europe.

That's what I also heard, the farmers are afraid that wolves would attack their livestock.

I think wolves are beautiful creatures and should be allowed to live here. They are probably more afraid of us than the other way round. I haven't heard of any wolf attacks on humans as far as I can remember. It's unlikely to happen.

Maybe farmers should properly protect their livestock instead of blaming predators. They're predators, what do they want them to eat, fruit? Oy vey but farmers who kill foxes or wolves are damn fools

One thing I forgot to mention is that fox hunting is forbidden where I live. At least one little glimpse of light in a sea of human caused bullshit.
