Warranty would be the best. Else it is time for ordering a new stick (they are cheap).

The drift issues on the Joy-Cons are strange. I've had only one Nintendo controller with a bad stick: GameCube controller from 2002 failed 2019. This is acceptable; though replacement required soldering.

I've had three pairs of Joycons and not a single one has drifted. (hope I don't jinx myself saying that) but it's pretty clear there's an issue going on with them

i had drift on both of my joycons
wd-40 does the trick

@Crazynoob458 i think contact cleaner is better than wd 40.
and for nintendo joy cons.. yeah the switch one is bad.
but for nunchuck, classic and gc (they are all use the same joycons) its more way better than switch. but if it have an issue, you cant just replace the joycons. Because the 3rd part joycons is very very bad, trust me.
