but I never bring out the big guns until I'm with supervisor/managers basically because regular CS have no clue especially when it's all outsourced to India. And yes if push had come to shove I would have taken the time to take it to the ombudsman because at the moment I have nothing but time and the knowledge of the consumer goods act and distant selling regs.

The first line CS workers aren't trying to screw you, they are following a script. "Same parent company" doesn't mean anything, the delivery people can be the same company, the same building, the same person under a different login, but if the script says "not our fault" the agent has to say that.

So there's no point in arguing with the first line of CS, they can't help you even if they (privately) agree with you, just demand a manager right away.

When I was talking about being screwed, I was talking about Amazon as a company and not the CS. I've dealt with amazon CS quite a lot over the years and I know the front line CAN go above and beyond and get the problem sorted. Frontlines are pretty much copy-paste and they aren't even being discreet about it anymore. supervisors are just as bad but sadly you have to go through them to get anywhere <cont>

    Meteo is like an AVI-to-GBA converter. Just drag-and-drop your AVI file in, and then convert.

    But Nintendo's GBA video format is different, being that it uses a custom ROM and chipset for rendering, for like the Shrek and Shark Tale titles. Been undumpable for years and years.
