Hearing Sylver say that the Family Edition Wii is the worst one makes me question why I even bother modding mine in the first place. Iirc, when it gets bricked, there's no real way of fixing it? I dunno. Thankfully mine hasn't suffered that fate yet

I should say that the Wii Mini is not the greatest imo, but the community are making mods to add Wi-Fi support as well as an SD card slot. Fortunately though, the Family Edition does not have GameCube support because the ports are missing on the top, as well as the appropriate system modules. It is possible to add them back on via homebrew, but personally, I would get a model that does have them.

And where is the best place to get these? We have the Wiimotes, but I want to create the ultimate homebrew device without having to utilize Dolphin for Gamecube games and my Family Ed. Wii for Wii/Wiiware ones.
