:creep: Just like what I think in every case something is based on MS Windows.
If Windows would allow no security and/or WEP (with giving a big, red warning) for a hotspot there would not be a need for Linux here.

I've used it before, but not as much as Windows. I want to get into using it though but not enough to replace Windows.

Unless youre able to do a checklist of things that I might or might not mention

You might be able to use a SoftAP on PC. The DS is very picky with what access points it will accept though. Windows offers less options as far as that goes, the built in SoftAP support that Windows offers won't work, and Connectify Hotspot won't work either.

The old Nintendo WiFi USB Connector is a very reliable way to connect a DS, but the drivers only work up to XP IIRC, even in SoftAP mode.
