Donations alone aren't enough to cover server costs. Most people won't pay money for nothing in return.

No, that's too much. My server charged $15 for lifetime VIP, the same cost as three months.

Oh, I mean, thats not too bad. I'm more complaining about servers that have you pay over $30. heck, even $20 should be enough.

The more important question is why are there still Minecraft servers.
