It's definitely an SDHC, it says on the back. So weird though that it's SDHC and that small. I'll find you an Amazon link of a compatible SD Card. You can use any SD card once you get done with the Bathaxx, but til then you need a non-HC and non-XC card.

So, the reason Bathaxx and other hacks are so picky about the SD card is because back when they were released, there weren't different types of SD cards, there was just... SD Card. Then shortly after, SD High Capacity, or SDHC, hit the scene, boasting 4 whole GB of storage and higher.

Now we have SDXC, I guess for "XTREME" capacity or something, idk. But ya, I've always though all 2GB and under SD cards were just regular SD. You have a 2GB SDHC card. Doesn't make a lot of sense, but that's why it isn't working. If you bought at a local store, you should return it. Most places will let you return even with the opened packaging.

I have this exact card, and you'll note in the Q&A section, several users have confirmed that this card works for installing homebrew onto Wii and vWii.

A) Yes, they should let you return it. SDHC are good for thousands if not hundreds of thousands of (quick) formats.
B) I wouldn't tell them that you've used it when you return it. Just tell them you took it out of the packaging and saw that it was labeled SDHC on the back, and you can't use it because of that, which is really all true.

I'm sure there are, but I don't know them off hand. I would use Amazon to confirm. Just search for a really small card, like 1GB, since we now know not all 2GB cards are non-HC. And then look at the Q&A sections of any cards that interest you and see if anyone has used it to hack a Wii / vWii with.

Eh, why not spend $5 extra and get the one I linked? The one you're looking at is from China, it's prolly an SDHC in disguise. From what I understand class was not widely used until SDHC was introduced.

@K3Nv2 I got some cheapies at wallys, that are pretty good, already have lost a few expensive ones (one falls out and gone, can't find) while cutting grass so bought some cheap ones, and of course never lose these cheap ones. (Cheap meaning only $35, compared to air buds which I only have 1 of 2 now)
