c++ is a "normal" language like c, c#, f#, java.
x64 asm is programming with the instruction set the 64bit CPUs of AMD and Intel know. I'm already very familiar with PowerPC assembly and would like to get into x64 ASM and ARM ASM. But most importantly C++ to effectively create my own software
Oh, i see. I didn't know it was possible to do that with ASM. I thought it was for programming games, last time i even tried to use ASM was a tutorial teaching me to inject sonic 2 spindash into sonic 1, i messed around with it and made sonic top speed even faster than intened and jump higher but i forgot all of it lol. It wasn't easy. :3
you can use assembly programming for parts of games, for instance, where it has to run efficiently where the compiler may not find an elegant solution. You can also use it to debug your software if the compiler did something wrong (which should not happen). last but not least it is very useful for any kinds of hacks. I wrote te entire cheat code handler for the Wii U in PowerPC ASM and a few cheat codes ^^
i'm more busy with studying c++ now :3
it's very interesting
