I said that? Oh well i don't think is necessary. I didn't have to when i tried. I can't find the post at the moment but i said to turn the wifi on the vita off then restart the system. Then go to content manager. It shouldn't ask for update. Make sure you installed QCMA. Don't plug usb until after you start content manager.
Just asking, sorry to sound like a pest. Honestly i was just concernd. Is very concern of mine if someone i like is upset. Still sorry about your psvita situation. I been trying to find useful answers to fix your problem. It would be better used to save your money if you didn't have to spend it with a simple solution somewhere before you find it through payment.
Well i been looking for help. So i hoped you didn't have to spend any money. I dunno if my suggestion worked. May i ask what operating system you are using? I used windows 7 and it worked when i installed qcma and did the steps like i shared.
