I still find XMPlayer's skins and window themes to be quite gaudy, but that's just me.

I like the minimalist interface. There's a theme with a cute vumeter for it. It's very smexy on the taskbar

How dose it not make sense? Tell me a native Linux music player that has as customizable a UI as foobar2000 as well as codec conversion tools and then I might consider switching over to something else.
