Seeing how it's been, I guess the next one will be Skyrim Online+ or something, they got so lazy they prefer to just re-release the same stuff over and over and let's be honest, without mods, Skyrim was a bad game, ES4 was much better in quality, just worse in graphics...

I don't know if I completely agree with that but I do think they got incredibly got lazy with re-releases and cash grabs.

I don't think Skyrim is the best game ever, but I don't think it was bad. Oblivion did some stuff better, like I much preferred its quests tbh.

Perhaps the world is ready... as for me, I still want to put some time into Morrowind, also still have to get somewhere in Oblivion and I still have lots to do in Skyrim. Lot's of backlog.

I know, main thing Skyrim had going for it was the really large world and a fair few interesting NPCs, along with some added mechanics. It gets old REALLY fast though as soon as you have explored some of it... Open World RPGs are tricky to make well if they are too big, so Oblivion was better because it had a more condensed map with much more fun stuff/quests to do.

A good example of an OW RPG is Two Worlds II if you want to see what I mean, HUGE map that you can explore, but limits you depending on what part of the story you are at, but once you unlock one island you get to explore ALL of it, but it's not too free, you get huge areas to explore with lots of content, but you have to unlock each one. That way you never get too sidetracked and it doesn't get too boring either.

And I gotta 100% Morrowind and Oblivion myself, Skyrim I'm skipping because I dropped it after 40 or so hours, too boring.
