PSA: Your last post about the SD card wasn't a PSA
Also, always check SD cards when you buy them and reformat them, never leave them with default settings as 90% they come misconfigured (factory lines for SD cards use VERY lazy default formatting algorithms to save time).
To be honest, I've had about 950 or so SD cards throughout all my devices in all the years I've been alive, amount that came correctly formatted from the factory? ONE lol
Just frustrating that fat 32 doesn't allow 4GB+ files. I really hope a workaround for exfat comes along. Then again, I guess it's how Nintendo made the console and not the homebrew.
I don't really mind not having 4GB+ files honestly, if I want to put larger files I just use NTFS. Systems that are intended for FAT32 are made in a way so that the files you use on them never go above the limit, so it's not an issue. Take 3DS for example, the largest of the games are still only up to 3.7GBs.
True, but Switch games are fragmented and spread throughout many smaller files when installed similarly to how most games are on PC (you got main file which calls each of the other files with them being libraries containing graphics/code/etc. as needed).
Me being a SXOS user (Too lazy to install NSPs.) Is it possible to split XCI files? I only see NSP splitters so my expectations are low, haha. If not, then I no longer have any use of SX OS.
