Nice work fishears, latest dol works great for me.
On an unrelated note, I had someone come up to me the other day and talk about wii hacking, I asked if he plays backups using a loader... he said he uses this cool itunes esque loader called coverfloader. I told him to STFU!
Great to see...
No Takers?? I would have though some aspiring coder would be looking for a cool project to join! So what if development is dead... take coverflow in your own direction!
Howdy! Just wanted to let you guys know I (Beardface) am not dead... just very very busy with life. Since the coverfloader team is too busy to work on this now... anyone with free coding time they want to put towards maintaining and enhancing coverfloader? I'm not too picky
Anyway, F1SHE4S...
I Just modified the first post to make it 'timeless'...
Someday I'll start developing this app again, for now, everyone take a moment to appluad Fishears and his hard work!
.... **Applause** .....
Hey Fishears, back from the dead for a short while....
What would you like me to update the first post with? Wish there was a way to allow GBAtemp to let you edit it for me...
Feel free (Anyone) to submit a new Logo and loading screen for coverfloader... we'd love to update this; just don't have time... (Great chance for someone who doesn't know how to code to give back to the team )
V1.1 released and first post updated
Mostly fixes from 1.0; new features will be enabled in the next release.

Changelog
-NEW-
Load 2D Cover if a 3D cover is not found.
-FIX-
Fix issue that stores invalid files for missing discs...
Shouldn't be a mem issue... coverflow caches enough storage to support up to 500 covers.... after 500 covers, you might have issues; but its a circular buffering queue, so it _should_ handle 500+ anyway. (A Leet hacker can test this; but if you have 500 games; i honestly don't care if it crashes...
Ah yes- I'm definitely interested in WiiTDB support; just haven't had time to work through the numerous issues in getting it integrated.
The real problem is still the size of the zip file we are loading in; and the memory shortage issues associated with caching a crapload of covers. I have a...
Since I've claimed to be an advocate of posting dols... I'll do just that.
here is a 1.1 candidate build (r842) from svn... Has many fixes; but the ones I just added and find useful enough to share are:
1) If in 3D mode and cover not found, use the 2D cover instead
2) Fixed Cover zoom/flip in...
I've started putting together a coverfloader web site to hopefully provide for a more formal location for builds/info etc...
its very raw at the moment; but here it is:
http://sites.google.com/site/wiicoverflow/
Feel free to Post DOLs... I dont really know why we got started with the 'dont post links' thing... obviously; if you are posting a compiled dol, or download and use a posted dol, you are doing so at your own risk.
The only 'safe' dol are those posted on wii cover flow...
Other then that...
They are RELEASE Candidates; so the updates should be small. (A RC is a potential 1.0 if it goes over well.)
Also, please don't tell me how to code or release code unless you are contributing code.
sorry, beein trying to find this file that's been right in front of me for a month now, only to find broken links, and google to prove that it's completely worthless.
