    I flashed yesterday a wrt54gl and I had your problem. Do a 30-30-30 reset and when wlan is lit again, clear your browser's cache and connect to the router page. it should work (also try internet explorer )

    so yeah besides the purple pieces I think it is totally AWESOME that you can streetpass ppl from all over the world and open new areas in the maps. Wish there was the globe icon and maps for every country though :( But yeah it is great. I have encountered 3 regions in Sweden and one in Poland...

    that is pretty cool actually because it does not take your mii color change the moment you change it. I am not sure how long exactly it needs to be before the next streetpass, but unless I was changing it almost immediately after the hit, it was taking my previous color for immediate streetpass...

    check your mac if you have busybox and a terminal. on the terminal type something like : busybox iplink show wlan0 something tells me that you are in the case I am right now... you have a random mac and not what you told wifi tether to switch to.

    oh yes. and because that file is missing it is assigning a random mac every time you start wifi tethering.
