I remember of a way to display every custom thing that is installed, but cannot remember how to do it. Hopefully someone else chimes in, because I have been looking for it.
Thanks for your replies. I think I am just going to get a HDD after all. Like already said, no telling what Nintendo will send me back. I even emailed a local repair shop from craigslist about fixing it, and he said just get a HDD. Now to find a good HDD for around $75.
I have a Wii which is a few years old (LU50). Over the past year it's been making that loud vibrating sound when it spins a disc, so I finally got motivated enough to research it and attempt to fix it. After "fixing" it, it started acting back up maybe a week later. Months pass, and last week I...
I'm sorry to hear that. I had 4.0u and then installed Waninkoko's 4.1u last night. Today I put in a retail Resort and updating from the disc, too. Everything still works fine for me.
Picking this up tomorrow. I hope my Wii will be alright when I'm forced to update from the disc. I already have it updated to 4.1u using Waninkoko. I have HBC and Back Up Loader with 2 other 002 fix/loader channels. Everything still works fine after the update, so I'm hoping the one I'll have to...
I always go by if it isn't broken, don't fix it. I only update when it's absolutely necessary. No sense in screwing something up when you didn't have to.
I looked behind my modem/router/360/Wii/computer, and some of them were Cat5. Would it matter any if I upgrade everything to Cat5e? I know upgrading to Cat6 would be complete overkill.
Sav files are the same. You do not need a converter. The main interface/menu is almost exactly like the R4. Games/Media/Setting. Cyclo is also recommended over all flashcarts, depending on your budget/needs.
realhotstuff.com has them for $47 shipped. I got mine in 3 days.
Just wanted to point out to the few of you who said you cannot transfer stuff to a same size hard drive, you can. It says so in the manual that comes with it.
I ordered my transfer kit on a Wed and it arrived on Sat. I'll have to look into this xplorer 360 stuff.
I may try the new ram site, and download more RAM to my Switch. Not sure if ddr3 is the right ram
for it tho. Edit- no it uses floppy Ram, just like @AncientBoi
