    Yes you can, but only if the ROM is Platinum and not Emerald. If Emerald is the ROM, Platinum wont pick it up.

    I put Sapphire. It was the first Pokémon game I ever got. And its the only game you can get a Lunatone in. =3 (not counting D/P/PL - You cant catch it on the game)
