In 2009 they needed to add more features to sell TV's, I believe 3D TV's was the gimmick during that time.
In 2020 they have OLED's, MicroLED's, QLED's and 8K TV's. They don't need to add a plethora of features to sell this technology.
It's all a marketing ploy plus did you happen to get a...
I got it for $350 Canadian and yes I was highly considering the 4K model of the 2017 Vizio D Series but all in all it's just not worth the price difference for me ATM since all 4K TV's today still only have ATSC 1.0/2.0 for OTA broadcasting in 1080P maximum, ATSC 3.0 which broadcasts in 4K OTA...

BOTW sold for $80 Canadian and gave me 200+ hours of gameplay which is more than what I can ask for in a Zelda game and now they want $30 Canadian for DLC that would...
I have a PS3 and a Switch so I'm can't bash, technically the Switch is a more powerful console with higher resolution than the PS3 and I like it that way.
I'm done with PC gaming, I only use the PC for office work and internet now; it's much simpler and easier to play games on inferior...
It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
I was obsessed with finding UFOs, a surprising amount of US files where stashed on computers in other countries, China back in the early 90s omg sooo much
