Hacking Games appearing and disappearing on Sky3DS+

Okay, uh, yeah...so after dicking around in the most useless ways, I just held down an orange button the way I used to hold the blue one and they're showing up now. It's like blowing into an old NES cartridge but whatever works... auto FYI I'm on the newest version (thus the Ninjhax no longer...

Hacking Games appearing and disappearing on Sky3DS+

So I just got this bad boy and having a helluva time. After playing around with formatting my microSD I seem to have gotten games to appear. At first they were showing nothing at all. So I tried a smaller game - Harvest Moon Lost Vallley - and it worked. So I tried Stella Glow. Nothing. So I put...

Hacking Saves not sticking through hans on Sky3DS

So save, exit the game and home brew menu to the 3DS home screen and just flip the blue button? I'll give it a try. Honestly, I find the game freezes a lot on startup too, it's kind of a pain.

    Homebrew HANS game compatibility thread

Stella Glow through HANS (on 10.3.0) not only wont hold a save but constantly freezes on a yellow screen on startup. Anyone get this working and how?

Hacking Saves not sticking through hans on Sky3DS

Any suggestions at least? As to why my save (and apparently only my save) isn't working?

Hacking Saves not sticking through hans on Sky3DS

Hi there, I'm using the blue button Sky3DS with the modding kit installed so I can use hans to play Stella Glow (as we can only play the undub thanks to AP). It's playing just fine but I can't save the game. When I start it up again the save is gone and the game initializes as though it's the...

    DS #4899: Monster Racers (USA)

this has nothing to do with Monster Rancher. There are "monsters" like in pokemon, MR, Digimon and the like, only rather than battles, you race. They don't evolve, there are, I think, 80 different ones to collect, they have elements which can be mixed and matched with breeding, tournaments to...

    DS #4899: Monster Racers (USA)

I got a Zaal in the caves on Star Island I'm pretty sure (?) I was only about level 10 or 11 and so was it. It's when the green-haired guy from Asia asks you to find one for him and I found it in the same cave as he was in. I didn't need the Sledgehammer - indeed, I still don't have one - and...

Gaming Help me find a game!

Give Black Sigil a chance, just make sure to use cheats that a) allow you to avoid random battles and b) increase experience to make up for a). It it weren't for the random battles this games was actually quite awesome imo.

    Gaming DSiware

The released flipnote after the infamous block-the-pirates update, the bastards, so I have to wait until there's a fix. I'm blocked from the shop till I agree to update.

    Gaming virtual villagers hype thread

good lord, I have never seen such extreme and bizarre paranoia since Obama became president. I can only imagine there's serious racism behind it and no one wants to face it so they call him other (idiotic) names like "commie." I'm in Canada and it boggles my mind that Americans are resisting the...

    Gaming virtual villagers hype thread

whatever, your loss. A few more questions: does anyone know if you're eventually able to build huts on volcano island? does the "golden child" from the PC game exist here and, if so, how do you make it? how long does it take to tame that stupid turtle? puzzles I can't figure out...

I'd still like to know why they're still collecting thousands of tech points when I can't seem to level up past 4. What's the point of having researchers at all after that?

in the jungle you'll find these whithered trees...water them and they grow bananas you can pick. In the jungle and lagoon there are spots (a circle of rocks) that are "fertile soil" which you will eventually be able to cultivate

okay, so all my tech thingies are at level 4 and I can't seem to upgrade past that...they're still collecting tech points but if I go to the upgrade screen there's no option to continue past level 4. Am I missing something here??

    Gaming virtual villagers hype thread

So I let the game run last night, woke up the next morning - I have THREE villagers left!!! Shame, 'cause my island(s) is doing great but it looks like all the kids I was hoping to see age and breed got into a bees nest which apparently wreaked havok on the village and killed a bunch of them...

    Gaming virtual villagers hype thread

This game is great on the DS, albeit pretty slow at first while you have 10< villagers. You can double their speed but even that isn't enough...at times you just have to turn it off while not freezing time and hope they don't screw you over by acting stupid. Unlike the PC version I can't find...

Hacking Questions regarding the M30 i

hrm...maybe I'll try adding Sakura again since problems like 1 and 3 are happening specifically on the Touchpod for whatever reason. Sheesh! I'm glad I can at least play my roms!

Hacking My M3i Zero Review :)

I've got a few questions about the M3zero i I'm reposting here at the suggestion of other users, since I haven't gotten an answer looking through your (very well-written) review. Hopefully someone here can help. 1. In Touchpod, I can't figure out how to bring up each games menu. From what I've...

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
