Everything seems like it's very outdated. The guides I've found don't work anymore.
I'm looking for directions from start to finish, including backing up whatever needs to be backed up. I got part way through a guide and it's having issues with tsec keys.
Yep. Though I did update to the beta... could that be it? 3.7.2 beta is what I put on it and it didn't work. Then I had booted into the gateway menu and updated it through there and it's on 4.2.
I'm having issues getting a retail copy of Pokemon to play. It says the game card was removed when I try to start it. Any ideas?
I'm booting into Gateway (emunand is updated with the latest update), removing the Gateway cart, hitting select and changing the mode to Classic 7.x+ (I've tried 7.x-...
So I noticed that when the power light is blue, sleep mode appears to be working (the light fades in and out.) When the power is low (red light) it doesn't indicate that it's sleeping and drains the power fast. At either time when I open the 3DS the screen is off until opened. Any ideas?
Guess...
Nuh uh. I can't remember which USB port I was using last night (it was late) but I found out I apparently have a bad one so something probably messed up there. I'll try exFAT again tonight.
So I updated the red card. Backed up my NAND. Updated emuNAND to 9.4. I hit select, pick a game and then start it and it comes up with "An error has occurred." What am I doing wrong? xD I did the same thing to run Playcoin Setter and it worked fine <.< I have tried Mario Kart 7 and Ultimate NES...
But if it IS a possibility then I sure as hell wouldn't want to risk releasing it. Even if that isn't the case, if it isn't working reliably then why release it? You'd be pissed off just as much if they said "Here have this" and it just flat out not work or work 1/10 of the time.
I'm patient...
Because stuff like this has the possibility of bricking. "Better safe than sorry" They don't want to risk it. Are you really going to buy their product after they broke your stuff?
Their communication is a bit lacking I guess but it's not THAT bad.
You don't want to be me. It should be...
Still no lie. Still no false advertisement. Would you have preferred that they gave N3DS a beta too and have a large amount of their customers brick their N3DS? Would you like a bricked N3DS? Who would you blame if that happened? You'd blame them. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.
Does...
The next update is not live. Beta. Beta. BETA. It's a test. Unfinished product.
Also, that post does NOT, I repeat, DOES NOT state that N3DS will be supported in the "next update". It says they are in the process of finalizing support.
There is nothing that is a lie in that. It just hasn't been released yet. If they decide to scrap N3DS support then it would be a lie. It doesn't say it'll come out at the same time. AND this is a beta, so you aren't even calling them liars on a proper release.
Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
