    Hacking Unity with WiiU

Yeah, I remember sometime in the past I had that problem. Everything with the canvas is set up the way it's supposed to be. Yeah, I'm running 5.44p3.

    Hacking Unity with WiiU

I have tried both. All I know is that after I updated none of the UI buttons that I set up work in the whole game. I tried alternate methods like making an image button where I could use the wiiu api, the mouse method but none has worked. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I even tried making a...

    Hacking Unity with WiiU

It's the WiiUnity right before the latest update. I belive it is 5.4.4.

    Hacking Unity with WiiU

Yeah, I don't understand it. I've been messing around with it and nothing works like it did before the latest update.

    Hacking Unity with WiiU

I both read that wrong and worded my comment wrong. What I meant to say was UI Buttons on the UI Gamepad. The ones you can touch on the gamepad screen that are made in Unity. Sorry about that.

Oh, okay. The "other" forums are kind of picky when it comes to crises.

    Hacking Unity with WiiU

I don't understand. Are you angry or just notifying me of a schedule?

    Hacking Unity with WiiU

I'll go ahead and ask here since the fourms on the site rarely answer questions. How do you go about buttons on the gamepad? They don't seem to work for me in the editor.

    Hacking Unity with WiiU

I tried CEMU. I think It crashes because of my gpu. I'm on a laptop but I haven't heard of Decaf. I've just been testing in Unity but I'd bring the game over to the wiiU when I want to check the UI or something because as of now I'm only working on 2D sections of my game. Both emulators crash...

    Hacking Unity with WiiU

Yeah, kind of like upload it to the wiiU for debuging. However it's done on consoles like the xbox360 or psvita when it had it's thing.

    Hacking Unity with WiiU

I was hoping someone would develop some homebrew that would cast your game from unity to an app on your retail wiiU. I'm sure it's more complicated that it sounds.

    Hacking Unity with WiiU

I remember being able to test html on my wiiu or maybe it was that devkit I had for a while.

    Hacking Unity with WiiU

Is there a fully functional CFW yet? I haven't been keeping up with the scene lately.

    Hacking Unity with WiiU

I don't have a devkit yet but I don't think I should get one now. I'm aiming for a 3ds one though. But yeah i would like a wiiu devkit just for the learning experience. When I make a durable prototype I'll see if I can post it on the dev fourm so people can test but I'm not sure if I can do...

    Hacking Unity with WiiU

Your are right but if retroarch is on wiiU I think I may need to try it out one day. Speaking of one day, maybe one day we could work on a small game together. Maybe like a silly game jam for streamers to gawk at. But further down in the future when we're finished with our projects.

    Hacking Unity with WiiU

That would be a good reason to get it. Although I haven't had a good track record with retroarch but when it works it works great.

    Hacking Unity with WiiU

I glad to see that someone else loves the wiiU as much as I do. I'm no saying the Switch is bad or anything but I don't think i'll be buying it. Along with other problems I have with it I just don't like paying for online.

    Hacking Unity with WiiU

The 3DS development still has it's thing. I'll probably port my game over if it's too late for the wiiU already. It probably won't take much effort because I'm pretty much using placeholder graphics now. I don't think I can test my games on CEMU because It crashes every time I try to load mine...

    Hacking Unity with WiiU

That's going to take a while for me to wrap my head around. But none the less it's just what I needed. I've been trying to do this for the longest. I appreciate you taking the time.

    Hacking Unity with WiiU

I'm glad I could help. Also you may have taught me something too so thanks. Now I just have to figure out the rumble thing. *Edit* If I'm not mistaken, you could do something like this: (can't find the code button) using UnityEngine.WiiU; Instead of this: using WiiU = UnityEngine.WiiU; If...

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
