    Gaming NDSThemes is back!

You may be out of luck. It seems that there are no skins for the dstwo on that site yet. Btw, very nice theme.

Hacking crediar added the new FST rebuild feature to s/uneek

This is great. Now if only someone could write something similar for DS games, too.

FileServe is officially dead now as well

It seems that fileserve and filejungle both re-enabled their sharing functionality. As expected both have removed their affiliate program. I think filesonic will soon re-enable sharing, too.

Tutorial Nintendo DS Music Hacking [LOOPING INCLUDED, FULLY EXPLAINED]

The dls file from your tutorial is only used in FL Studio for cosmetic purposes. Apart from that it's completly useless. It doesn't do anything to the midi you created via FL Studio. Shitty midi + dls → Shitty midi You can't "patch" a midi with a dls file. The DS doesn't know what dls files...

Tutorial Nintendo DS Music Hacking [LOOPING INCLUDED, FULLY EXPLAINED]

You mean I can use the sound bank file of music X with a midi file of music Y? I did that, but that resulted in no sound output. I have done some research. Sound only works if you have a sseq file (midi), snbk file (dls) and an swar file (wave archive). Your tutorial completly ignores the swar...

Tutorial Nintendo DS Music Hacking [LOOPING INCLUDED, FULLY EXPLAINED]

Your tutorial has a flaw. It does describe how to MODIFY an existend soundtrack of a DS game, but it does not describe how to REPLACE a soundtrack with a soundtrack of ANOTHER DS GAME. This is what I understood so far: * In order for a midi file to sound like in the game, a separate sound bank...

Tutorial The Ultimate Nintendo DS ROM Hacking Guide!

I have an issue. I tried to replace the battle music from Nostalgia DS with the battle music from Golden Sun Dark Dawn. I did all the steps from the tutorial but the inserted Golden Sun battle music sounds horrible in Nostalgia. What did I do wrong? And why do we need the SBNK file of the music...

    Filesonic shuts down file-sharing capabilities

My input to this: Filesonic basically shuts down itself Q: Was it the right move? A: Yes it was. Q: Why? A: Because common sense says it's simply not worth it to continue with their services, risking to experience the same fate of Megaupload. Filesonic has made millions of cash, why should...

Homebrew [SNEmulDS] Rebirth the project and update it for the last DKP

Any updates on this? I mean seriously, who is actually working on this? What's the point in having this thread and an svn repo if nobody is interested and/or doesn't have time for this? As far as I'm concerned this is still better than the DStwos SNES emulator because of the known input-output...

    Megaupload taken down

Wow, after reading the court documents someone linked in this thread, I have to say that MU had this coming. To deliberately not delete popular illegal files because they produce big income is not ok.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
