    Hacking Dev mode free

Maybe if you are a student or a part of a partner program but honestly last I checked it's a one time fee of 20 dollars for life time dev access. It's how Microsoft makes their money on homebrew. Not a bad deal.

Homebrew Question Android users, have you had a type C cable/OTG adapter just stop working for sending payloads?

No, Pixel 3 XL USB C <-> USB C cable for over a year, no problems. I only had to allow the SXOS app permissions when prompted the first time. I don't have your model of phone so no way to test what the problem could be. I know this doesn't help your immediate situation; however, I recommend...

Hacking Question Restore clean sysNAND and preparing for emuEMMC

Fuse count is ignored by bootloader payloads such as hekate or sxos. Won't matter for the downgrade / restore at all as long as BOOT0/1 are for the same firmware version as your NAND image.

Hacking Question Restore clean sysNAND and preparing for emuEMMC

You can use your existing BOOT0/1 backup files if you have them and skip the downgrade process altogether by restoring them. I was simply stating how I performed the procedure with rawnand only. Figured that would be useful to you if you had autorcm installed prior to dumping as it can modify...

Hacking Question Restore clean sysNAND and preparing for emuEMMC

I had a rawnand backup without boot0/1 a few days ago and did exactly what you are wanting to do here. Identified the version of my rawnand backup using this https://gbatemp.net/threads/firmware-version-inspector-get-fw-version-from-nand-dump.515308/ Performed a new backup of rawnand and...

    Gaming Nintendo Switch Firmware 8.1

    1. Not nice to call your 7 year old stupid :P 2. Boot into your payload / bootloader and uninstall autoRCM 3. Wait for updated patches. Your switch isn't broke, just not able to use modified functions until new firmware patches are released, or you downgrade using Choidujour / use EmuNAND...

    Gaming Nintendo Switch Firmware 8.1

Not trying to put you down man, I'm just stating AutoRCM is a big part of dual booting firmware. Some of us boot with our phones in quick succession. You might just want to include that disclaimer because not everyone likes to carry a Jig around with them everytime they wish to dual boot, you...

    Gaming Nintendo Switch Firmware 8.1

That's a big leap from working, to won't work my dude. You might want to lead with that / clarify in your original post. Yes you can boot it, but it definitely breaks AutoRCM.

Uh, no? Just did it with SX OS and stock 8.1.0 firmware no longer boots. Let me guess, no autorcm

Tutorial Xbox One X: Internal HDD -> External Case Mod

Yes it can! Now as far as looks go, It will just need a bit of cutting since the front USB port is not modular, and a drive housing that will fit the S if you can find one. So far I only know about one for the Original model, and the X. It basically is a housing made for the screws to hold...

Tutorial Xbox One X: Internal HDD -> External Case Mod

Description: This mod enables the internal hard drive to be accessible outside the internal case much like the Xbox 360 hard drive. No cutting or soldering required! Purpose: This mod makes the hard drive easily replaceable and removable for research (connect to PC), upgrades, and even supports...

Hardware Sata controller to USB to Sata

So to make sure I understand correctly, You are saying the Motherboard SATA controller (female), converted into male, and running the power flow backward through the SATA micro controller on the Usb to SATA adapter, and then into the USB to SATA (as designed) on the other end of the USB coupler...

Hardware Sata controller to USB to Sata

I was under the impression it would just drop from 6 to 5, but you are saying I would need another HDD for it to even register? Is this also confirmation that SATA to USB can accept voltage bidirectionally? As in the SATA could transmit power to USB, and then back to SATA?

Hardware Sata controller to USB to Sata

I am in the process of creating a case mod for the Xbox One and I am attempting to make the Sata connector external. The reason this is posted under the PC section is because this is primarily a PC component inquiry. I have a couple of ways to achieve an external HDD case mod, but I was...

Hacking [Info] Xbox One - Getting somewhat started

Well, to clarify I figured there were exploitable services, in fact I'll be running a scan for open quotations and insecure entry points tonight, but so far none of the metasploit payloads have worked out of the box. Thanks for the heads up. I'll look more into XVD when I have time to test...

Hacking [Info] Xbox One - Getting somewhat started

Metasploit is useless because it requires a payload to be ran on the target machine. Most of the system is so incredibly alien to what the payload expects, most of them would have to be re-written or heavily modified. I've been using deep file access within the standard account to attempt to...

Hacking Discussion Switch sx os counter points

ONLY reason I use SX OS: XCI backups Closed source I'm fully aware of the stolen code found in the binaries, and putting closed sourced homebrew software behind a paywall for a product that contains open source code is definitely something I am against. That being said, SX OS's greatest...

If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
