I had to specifically ask for a genuine one. Was told they don't have one, only clones, but could get one in about a week if I was willing to wait. It's in the mail now, so we will see.
I hate to be a bother, but could you be so kind as to send along a DM my way as well re: that adapter?
I have a Lite and an OLED to do, and if I can just buy 2 genuine lites and an adapter for the OLED that'd be great.
Anyone have a link to that old blog post from the guy who made the giant DS out of some other screens?
Went to show it to a friend and cannot find it to save my life.
You nailed it. Never would have guessed that was the issue. I'm not even sure how the synchronize date/time with the internet setting got turned off.
Thank you!
So I haven't used HBG Shop in a few weeks, but now that I'm trying it doesn't show any games/updates/dlc any more. I updated both HBG Shop and Tinfoil, but no dice. What changed in the past few weeks/how do I properly get up to speed to fix it?
I'm hoping someone can help me out. I'm trying to convert games to bootable format for the PSP TOOL. Part of the requirements of sign_np are that you have the game's CID. Conveniently any game on PSN has its full CID in the URL. But this does not help when a game is not on PSN (Metal Gear...
After trying to install a couple of NSP's that failed with "Failed to create Placeholder" I have boxes where games should be on the home menu that are just gray with a loading symbol in them. The + button option where you'd normally delete software is grayed out. How do I go about deleting...
Oh, got it!
I intend to put a SNES controller port in the Nitro casing, and run wires from that to the already existing wires on that connector. Should be able to leave the DS fully functional that way.
Either way it's a fun experiment!
Going into the dummy DS would be a mess of a project honestly. There's far more room on the other end of the cable, inside the box. All the wires are neatly placed in a big snap in connector and easy to access.
I'd recently seen the SNES controller on a DS through the GBA slot mod, which...
Looking for the pinout for the DS itself if possible, or rather the cable coming out of it where it goes into the connector within the Nitro Capture.
I'd like to modify it to alternately use a SNES controller for input. That way I can set it at my entertainment center and play DS games from...
Gotcha. Thank you for the clarification.
">4.55 games = NO" doesn't say no to what, so I assumed it meant playing them. Other bits online suggest you can dump but not play higher. So I was confused.
Again, thanks for setting things straight for me! I'll just keep those games off to one...
I was under the impression that games that require over 4.55 OFW could be dumped using the firmware spoofer. Is this correct?
Obviously the backups could not be played, but I just went through and dumped all of my <=4.55 games and am hoping to just finish this long and annoying process in one...
Care to flesh out that thought? Because as-is it doesn't give me any new information.
Every guide I've seen is "put the FMCB memory card in, put in USB key, hold start while rebooting".
So, I'm trying to install FMCB on my PSX (model DESR-7000). I do not have a PS2 of any sort to use separately. But I *do* have an official CECHZM1 PS2/3 memory card adapter.
Supposedly the only difference on modern versions of FMCB is to press R1 on the install screen and choose "PSX Install"...
Unfortunately the DS Capture card is just that, a capture card. It requires a computer, and that's not quite what I'm aiming for. It's surprisingly also ~$40 more than I paid, since I don't have a phat DS to send in. And because the market kinda tanked on ISNC/ISND units.
Also unfortunately...
I feel like school, back when I was actually in school, was more entertaining though, because of how much I get to interact with people, hang out with friends, and other stuff like that. All I get to talk to at work is my boring coworkers lol
