    I have the SD initial error. Hadn't used it for about a year and when I got back to it got the error. Nothing on the internet worked. What end up working is I got my hot air station, 400C, lots of flux and then heated the main chip for a minute or two. Works now:P

    Ive never had any problems with corrupt saves on the Omega. I dont know if the corruption is related to the type of sd card used or the way you format it or forgetting to wait for a couple of seconds or its just bad luck, if it happended to me I would through it out the window so I understand...

    They only other thing I can think of is try downgrading the kernel to match V06 of the firmware, kernel 1.05 or 1.04.
