Would it be possible to add a way to set a default base overclock in the config? The difference in power draw between DDR4 clocked at 1333Mhz and 1600Mhz is so small I want the device to have the Mem set to 1600Mhz all the time unless I explicitly set it to lower for certain titles.
Pirates are happy to use NSPs because you get auto banned for trying to go online with a pirated copy of a game anyway, people who actually want to use their own cartridge backups want XCI because you can go online with them.
Thank Christ it has no 32bit CPU support, I am fed up of 32bit CPUs holding back games with their limited register sizes, limited addressable space and lack of modern high performance instruction sets. PC's have been 64bit for over 15 years now, it is time to let 32bit CPUs die.
Yes, you will have to go to a store and buy a new Switch, extract the certificate from the new Switch and wait until a redirection method is developed for putting the new certificate on your old Switch.
As 2 Switches can't use the same certificate without being banned you will need to either...
If the e-fuse check is done after the signature check then you just have to apply the patch after the signature check is done. If the e-fuse check is done before then you just do the patch, then undo the patch before the signature check.
Oh so the method was just local update sharing? People did say that worked on Reddit when the update came out. But finding somebody with another Switch who has the game and update is inconvenient and if you are buying another Switch then you might as well play the updated games on the updated...
Not banned yet.
EUR N3DS
Had it off since before A9LH was released (IIRC) and am not banned, I have also had StreetPass disabled (SpotPass doesn't work if StreePass is disabled) since the Pokemon S&M bans (IIRC).
I had disabled sharing data since it was known to cause disconnects when playing...
Not exactly true, homebrew apps can do things that normal apps don't have permission to do, they could have added a check for these extra permissions in a system title.
Doesn't the e-shop also read the titleid's of all titles installed on startup? Which is how it says you 'own; games that have been installed from CIAs.
What about the option to share data with Nintendo in the Streetpass Mii Plaza? Doesn't that send data to Nintendo about who you streetpass and what games you have streetpass enabled for?
It's also enabled by default.
I'm more concerned with a separate bootloader like ctrbootmanager, since now that we are no longer booting from the SD card Luma3DS updates now carry a risk of bricking your 3DS.
