Hacking Atmosphere/Emunand keeps getting corrupted - any ideas?

Just tried installing one of my older, definitely-successfully ripped .nsp's and it corrupted again. So at least now I think I can rule out the .nsp's having anything to do with the problem.

Hacking Atmosphere/Emunand keeps getting corrupted - any ideas?

If it helps to add - I use a second Switch to do the ripping through nxdumptool. The Switch I'm trying to get the 1 TB card working on has the gamecard reader disabled.

Hacking Atmosphere/Emunand keeps getting corrupted - any ideas?

So I am currently running Hekate 5.3.3 and Atmosphere 0.14.4 on Emunand using (I think?) a hidden partition. Switch firmware is 10.2.0. This is a launch model, unpatched Switch. I've been trying to figure this out for a few days, so I figured I'd reach out and see if anyone else has any...

Hacking Emunand on Hekate Is Not Working: no main boot entries found

Joonie86's fork for Hekate and patches are gone - is there any chance someone here could upload hekate_ctcaer_5.1.4_J.bin?

Homebrew Question HBG shop new update and no full ram access

Total life-saver, man - thank you so much for posting this. I went ahead and updated Hekate, Atmosphere, Kosmos, HBG/Tinfoil, etc. today and this was driving me insane. This series of steps fixed my HBG/Tinfoil issues.

Hacking Switch Informations by serial number - READ THE FIRST POST before asking questions

Ah, my mistake. Thanks for the correction. I think so. 3.0.0 is rare enough as it is, 2.2.0 or 2.3.0 would be both great finds either way. And who knows, maybe something will come up in the next month or two that will make you happy that you're below 3.0.0.

Hacking Switch Informations by serial number - READ THE FIRST POST before asking questions

Oh wow, I haven't even looked at the Japanese ranges because both of my systems are from the US. Apologies, I can see how that would be confusing now. I think given those ranges, there's no way to know for sure. But either 2.2.0 or 2.3.0 are both great finds, regardless.

Hacking Switch Informations by serial number - READ THE FIRST POST before asking questions

Read the first post. Towards the bottom of the post, the serial numbers are given in ranges. If your serial falls within a reported range, it's probably the associated firmware version listed above the ranges.

Hacking Switch Informations by serial number - READ THE FIRST POST before asking questions

Just received a brand new Splatoon Bundle from eBay. Given the info in the OP, I was 100% sure this was going to be a 3.0.0 system. Color me pleasantly surprised! Serial: XAW100214 Region: US Firmware: 2.3.0 Store: Unknown (bought new on eBay) Was a bundle (if yes, which): Splatoon Bundle

Tutorial NAND Dumping 2DS/3DS/3DS XL/N3DS/N3DS XL!

I think I just tried to insert it into a locked socket too many times. The socket is fine, and the cable looks mostly fine (maybe a little crumpled on the terminal end.) I'm just going to chalk it up to inexperience and bad luck. I made my peace with it last night and ordered a replacement...

Tutorial NAND Dumping 2DS/3DS/3DS XL/N3DS/N3DS XL!

Oh yeah, you called it. There's one of the top screen cables on the underside that has the contacts inverse compared to the adjacent cable. I never would have considered being wrong about that until you said something. Thanks so much for the peer review. If I'm really lucky, the (assumed)...

Tutorial NAND Dumping 2DS/3DS/3DS XL/N3DS/N3DS XL!

It's an idea I've considered but wasn't confident enough to test, because the bend/size of the cables seemed to imply that I had re-inserted them correctly. When I have another chance to tinker with it, I'll try that out and report back. Thanks for the suggestion.

Tutorial NAND Dumping 2DS/3DS/3DS XL/N3DS/N3DS XL!

Well, I think on my own I have figured out why the touch input isn't working. There is a tiny, fragile ribbon cable near the top of the (unflipped) motherboard. Based on reading around about regular 3DS/3DS XL teardowns, I suspect it is responsible for touch input on the New 3DS XL. Per the...

Tutorial NAND Dumping 2DS/3DS/3DS XL/N3DS/N3DS XL!

Hi everyone - not sure if this is the best place to post these questions, but I figured I'd try it first. I tried to perform a hardmod on N3DSXL that I bought used this week. I tested it fully before performing the hardmod to be sure that it worked properly, and it did. I soldered all the...
