    Sorry I don't understand the last part of what you said, the part "...you should be fine slapping..." I've looked it up now, the ID0 's(folder inside Nintendo 3DS) are the same, the next ID is different. *the secone half of ID1 are equal too. Oh and this I found in my files9 folder:

    Oh wait... I downgraded the NFIRM of my old 2DS with another CFW 3DS from a friend. Therefore i did a systemtransfer from his 3DS to mine. After his 3DS was formatted by the systemtransfer, I just restored a Nand backup on the 3DS and his saves and games on SD Card where right there like before...

    Here is the solution quoted from 3DS.guide: "If you downgrade to 2.1.0 on a 2DS or New 3DS and left Wireless Communication off, you can re-enable the wireless by removing the battery for several seconds then booting back up."     I remember there is a troubleshoot info about that in the 3ds.guide . Think you had to remove the battery for some secs but better look it up there in the guide!
