    Don't use Gateway anymore, if you mess up and use it on 11.3 you'll either brick or lose CFW. You can convert all your games to CIAs and all your saves to work with the CIAs.

    I've gotten the same issue you had with guiformat, and the fix is simple. Close all windows explorer windows before you format the drive. It should work now.

    Bare minimum: 3ds folder, luma folder, Nintendo 3DS folder, boot.3dsx, and boot.firm. But, you should copy everything on the SD card just to be safe. Reminder that the new SD card has to be formatted as fat32.
