Hello, I'm currently trying to inject a SNES game.
I've followed every step but nothing shows up in the "Output" folder.
I have the two png files, a rom.
I've entered the required information.
Not sure what's going wrong here.
Thanks :)
I used Asia81's hackingtoolkit3ds.
unpacked the .cia
took the DecryptedRomFS.bin
renamed it.
OH, WHOA.
I need to double check that.
Thanks for pointing that out!
Edit: It worked!
I made a mistake in naming it misplacing that "0" for a "1"
Hi!
Thanks for the instructions.
I tried that and I'm getting an invalid romfs path.
Edit: I named it 001b4100.romfs and placed it in the hans folder on the root of my SD card.
Did you decompress the Chapter1 file?
I use the Fire Emblem Save Tool (FEST).
You drag Chapter1 onto FEST and then it should decompress the file for you.
You edit whatever you want using HxD, then you drag the edited file back onto FEST.
Then you have your new Chapter1 file.
I'll give you an example of what I'm doing.
I use HxD.
When I ctrl+F, I specify the search as "hex-values," search direction: "All" and search "C9 24 DD 07 51 16 47 AB"
Not sure if that helps
Why is the offset 0x7923 instead of 0x7920?
For this is my offset 0x747A?
So reversing it it'd be 0x7A74...
I'm also not sure what you mean by 0xD377 and replacing it by the reversed offset. What do I do with that?
And is 0xD377 the same for me?
Thanks for answering my questions, I'm pretty...
@K3Nv2 I got some cheapies at wallys, that are pretty good, already have lost a few expensive ones (one falls out and gone, can't find) while cutting grass so bought some cheap ones, and of course never lose these cheap ones. (Cheap meaning only $35, compared to air buds which I only have 1 of 2 now)
