    Wii homebrew is ran through HBC on vWii, just like on the regular Wii. I'm pretty sure there shouldn't be any disadvantages with running USB loaders or Nintendont on a Wii U. Also I don't know if there are any performance improvements with running emulators on vWii compared to a regular Wii...

    First off, WIT doesn't work very well for GC games, and second, for GC games, iirc it is called Start.dol, not main.dol.

    As far as I know, the recent DeSmuME builds seem to have at least decent Wi-Fi emulation, but generally, in my experience, if you care about playing online, you should try MelonDS. https://github.com/Arisotura/melonDS/releases
