Homebrew Suggestion Like Morrowind & dont mind using android? This might be the best experience on switch

Kudos, this runs very well and has lovely visuals! The only annoyance I have found is that with the use of the Switch pro controller, L&R Triggers cannot be read at all when mapping the controllers.

Homebrew RELEASE L4T Lakka Switch - now with audio and Vulkan

That has been said for ages lol ;). Personally I would be more than happy for just Pro controller support even wired. The thing is, as Natinusula mentions earlier in this thread, the controller mappings are hard coded into Retroarch and a workaround would have to be solved as plugging another...

Homebrew RELEASE L4T Lakka Switch - now with audio and Vulkan

I was indeed using the older version ;). Im glad you have it running well with Vulkan though! I found this tuturial on 1st files(hopefully it may help) I haven't tried many naoimi games and I haven't tested it myself but hopefully it will get virtua nba going. I believe for lakka they would just...

Homebrew RELEASE L4T Lakka Switch - now with audio and Vulkan

Use the previous version, the current lakka has too many bugs. I think DC/Genesis/N64 all perform worse. Unless you want to play Yoshi's Story only install the last lakka.

Homebrew RELEASE L4T Lakka Switch - now with audio and Vulkan

What game are you trying?? Also make sure to have threaded video enabled under video settings. This will make a large difference. Edit: After a little more testing can confirm Dolphin does work better considering the extra options. The GPU does work correctly, for some reason I had to disable...

Homebrew RELEASE L4T Lakka Switch - now with audio and Vulkan

Main thing is change the emulated clock speed, but you can try experimenting with other settings aswell. Then of course I would bump your CPU to around Max performance. For most GC games it should be enough. For Super Paper Mario I think you need to enable BBOX in the options. One of the...

Homebrew RELEASE L4T Lakka Switch - now with audio and Vulkan

In Beetle, disable dithering and try lowering the emulated clock speed. Lowering the Beetle CPU will help gain FPS but it sometimes comes at a price- like the character movement is a little more jerky etc(often it is not noticeable). The best things you can try to increase FPS in Mupen64 are...

Homebrew Question L4T Lakka, L4T Ubuntu, or Android?

You need to remove the joycons every time you boot and hold the button inside the joycon. Very rarely 1 will sync on boot. As an overall emulation machine I prefer Lakka, it requires much less messing around. but it is portable only most sadly.

Homebrew Question L4T Lakka, L4T Ubuntu, or Android?

For N64 and Gamecube it is a no brainer, Lakka/Ubuntu will outperform Android every day of the week. Android does have Drastic though, so 2DS is going to be better until it becomes open source. I am also curious to see how well DamonPS2Pro runs. Android has the bonus to easily sync bluetooth...

Homebrew RELEASE L4T Lakka Switch - now with audio and Vulkan

Vulkan for PS1 and glcore for N64 Unless their are specific games you want to play on the N64, I might suggest going back to the older build of Lakka. The current Lakka build stutters quite a bit for Mupen64plus. The games it fixes are great though like Yoshi's Story and I think Mischief Makers...

Homebrew RELEASE L4T Lakka Switch - now with audio and Vulkan

Try creating a new retroarch.cfg with the older version of lakka & compare with the latest. I would try just by grabbing an older retroarch.cfg and copy pasting into the latest Lakka. If that solves the problem go through and edit the changes in a newer retroarch.cfg file so as to avoid any bugs.

Homebrew RELEASE L4T Lakka Switch - now with audio and Vulkan

Seems likely to me, as both times I've had SD card issues with exfat both have been ones I've used for the switch. I have swapped mine to FAT32 though and never looked back. I would many times over see Play! running on this than see exfat supported, which realistically offers nothing that can't...

Homebrew RELEASE L4T Lakka Switch - now with audio and Vulkan

The thing is, with Lakka, Wii games/Gamecube games and also PS2 games can all be compressed below 4GB and still work fine. Their are very few games in Lakka that require being over 4GB in size and the ones that are run like garbage as they are incredibly demanding Wii Games. As for corruption on...

Homebrew RELEASE L4T Lakka Switch - now with audio and Vulkan

I don't think they are planning either at the moment if not for a very long time or ever. High up on the list are wireless bluetooth controller support(along with dock) sleep mode & Optimising emulators to run well/smoothing out compatibilty problems Can I ask why you need NTFS support for...

Homebrew RELEASE L4T Lakka Switch - now with audio and Vulkan

I tried to find a solution to this multiple times. Their is no workaround at the moment. The newer verions of Dolphin emulator have an option called "Trigger Threshhold" that ranges between 1-100% anything below 100% emulates an Analog trigger press. Unfortunately we do not have that option in...

Homebrew RELEASE L4T Lakka Switch - now with audio and Vulkan

It is actually has everything to do with a black screen because many people on various switch models have repeatedly got a black screen and cannot boot into lakka using multiple SD cards. This solution has worked every time, if you have found another one that works for you, or your issue is...
